Hook Happy

If you know me, you know that my yarn is never very far away. I have heard all of the crochet jokes about being a Happy Hooker...but really, it makes me very happy!

I made a promise to some cute kids a long while back and life got in the way of finishing the project. Recently I decided I had better keep my word so I got busy. While the yarn was flying and the hook was hooking I thought to myself, "Self, this would make a fun Valentine," and so it is!

The Fruits...

 The Veggies

There is no explanation for this pun!

These little guys pop out of their pod, They are always a big hit!

Don't you love his corny smile?

I begged the banana to stop peeling before things got out of hand!

The cuteness of this guy is very a-pear-ant. (I cannot stop being punny!)

Anyone hear Stevie Wonder singing?

Orange you glad I am out of puns!

I had so much fun! I hope these Amigurumi Produce Pals find their way to their destination by today. They have been all boxed up like Shari's Berries for four days now, traveling by truck & plane, from this freezing state to a warmer home.

Happy Valentines Day everyone! Whether or not you have a significant other, you are significant to someone! To my sweetheart, and to all five of my children, my son-in-law Nicholas, and sweet baby Lucas, I love you dearly! Thank you for making my life have meaning!

Patterns for the apple, corn, peas, & eggplant can be found here.
Pattern for the banana can be found here.
Pattern for the pear & orange I made up myself! (go me!)

They are absolutely darling! We saw a cute little Peewee Herman guy and Blake said I need to pay Aunt Marianne to make me a Peewee. He loves Peewee!

Anyway, we hope you have had a Happy Valentine's Day! We sure love you all!

That is probably the most brilliant marketing plan I have ever seen!
