Time Travel Tuesdays~Better Late Than Never!

So, I've had a few bad days this week. Tuesday was one of them. I just don't know how I can feel so good one day and feel so bad the next! Oh well, I am resting and getting really restless!

On to Easter! I have so many photos of Easters past. These are some of my favorites...

Holy petticoats! That's a lot of tulle! This is Easter 1960 and I was 2 years old. I actually remember this dress. I did not like the scratchy netting at all! Imagine sitting on all of that with bare legs!
Those bangs on my head were a feat to cut. Mom Scotch taped them to my forehead
then cut along the straight edge of the tape!
This is at my Grandpa and Grandma Ellsworth's house on S. Nina Dr. in Mesa.
There is a lot of time travel cool stuff here! Just look at that T.V.! There are the nick-knacks that Grandma loved. That lamp is really cool! There's a bi-level end table, all the rage in the early 60's.
Are those sparkly threads in the sofa?
I am also loving the colors! Peacock blue and red. Kind of reminds me of some trends today.

Here's the whole gang that afternoon. My Aunt Lora's kids were there for a visit also. Notice the boys all comfy in their blue jeans? What's up with that? I am sure we were in between Sunday School and Sacrament meetings here. That was the "old days" when Sacrament was held in the evening. I love how Sharon and I match down to the purses, but she got neat-o red shoes!

Back Row: Dianne, Doug, & Marian Hunsaker, Marianne & Sharon Ellsworth.
Front Row: Dean & Richard Ellsworth.

Happy Easter everyone!
I won't be wearing petticoats!

I'm sure Doug probably wore what he has on to church. Ha!! That picture cracks me up. I remember those type of dresses too. I had one and I loved how it puffed out, but hated the tull because it would itch and poked at my bottom. You never really wanted to sit down that's for sure. Thanks for the memories . . .

I was having trouble with getting this to work. So I stopped. Now I am back. Thanks so much for all the memories you put on your blog. I love it. Little hard to see one of your children sitting there smiling and know she is gone and you won't see that face again. And sweet Marion. But we have to buck up and take it. Those certainly weren't Sunday or Easter clothes the boys had on. I guess they changed as soon as they got home. I can't beleive I bought that shirt for Richard. I must have liked it then. What a sweet bunch of kids.

I loved the photo. It's always fun to see these old photos. Such a good looking group! I love the bright lips those girls had!

I hope you get over your bad days and just have good days!

Have a Happy Easter!
Love You,
JoLynn

I remember Mom telling a story about burning some of those Petticoats on Dad's motorcycle! Such a cute look!
