Time Travel Tuesdays~

In the good old summertime...! Oh what a girl will do for a tan! Here we have Britt and Sarah circa 1986 catching some rays in Orem, Utah. We can already see the swim coach father's influence in Sarah's blue and gold Orem High School Speedo suit. She is also showing the big Happy Meal toy that month, the McDonald's beach ball! Britt is stylin' her off the shoulder with a bosom ruffle for some extra curves (she needs no ruffle these days!). With them are their friends Nicole Nixon and Kaylee Collinsworth.

I removed these photos after finding that they are the number one viewed page on my blog from Yahoo searches looking for little girls in swimming suits. Perverts!!

How stinking cute it that?! I love it! These girls were little dolls and they've grown up into just beautiful young women!

Those were fun days- and I totally loved that beach ball with Grimace on it! This was one of our favorite things to do because the water in the pool was so cold at first (straight from the hose!) that we would splash around until we were freezing and then we would run and lay on the hot cement to warm up. Sometimes it was a little too hot when you first tried to lay down, as you can see from Britt's body language and face in the first picture! And I am trying to remember what those sunglasses I am wearing had on them- there was a little creature in the middle . . . was it a popple? Teddy Ruxpin? A Care Bear? I don't remember!

Oh flashbacks . . . . I miss those days.

Thanks for your comments on my blog. Don't worry I'm sure my mother was on top of it with the plastic pants. Apparently I like to be naked and so I would pour all kinds of liquid into my diaper, forcing my mother to be changing me a lot. Of course I would run through the house, with her chasing me because I loved the freedom of being diaperless. I happy to report that I have grown out of that stage ~ I actually do love clothes. Ha!

I love it! I remember laying on the hot sidewalk to dry off. Good ol days!
