The Mother and Child Reunion

Oh, it was hot and humid in Arvada last week! The weather caused some discomfort and fanning of faces but did not dull the joy of brothers and sisters reuniting! The place was the home of my baby sister Georgena, who is always a fabulous hostess! The family came from Gilbert, Arizona, Bloomfield, New Mexico, and American Fork, Utah. The mother of these siblings was smiling all week! I submit the following photos as proof that family CAN get together and not want to kill each other!

The first item of business was game playing. The game chosen was what the family affectionately calls "Pig Spit", a game which I personally avoid because of it's many scoring rules which I can never wrap my head around, and secondly because it lasts for-EV-er!! I chose the role of family photog, hence, these amazing pictures which everyone will hate me for!

There were dogs, and dog cuddling..
There was also much relaxing in the cool, shady backyard.

No trip to the Denver area is complete without some antiquing finding at The Brass Armadillo.

There we met a couple of old pianists...(She cannot look serious can she?)
...enjoyed refreshment and the company of cousins...
 ...smooched...

...bought comics...
 ...and stood under flying fish!
There was also hair cutting.

Did you see that mountain of hair??
 To be continued!
