No Photos...

Yesterday was the second Farmer's Market at Thanksgiving Point. I am exhausted. I am also building up quite a savings account. I began with over 20 aprons. I now have 10. I am running out of inventory, fast! My Crocheted Critters and Produce Pals are nearly gone. What's a gal to do?

*I have exactly 10 days until my carpal tunnel release surgery.

*I leave tomorrow afternoon with Dee and Richard for a few days in and around Yellowstone where      we will meet up with Dee's parents.

*That leaves six days of sewing until my right hand is out of commission for a few weeks.

Here's the plan:

1. Cut out as many apron pieces as I can.
2. Sew as many apron pieces as I can.
3. Leave the rest to Diana and maybe Gena and my mother if they want to help. (Did I mention they are coming to help me post-surgery?)
4. Crochet my little fingers off every evening. (OH! Just wait until you see the Halloween-y things I am making!)

The bottom line is that I have found the market for the aprons. They did dismally at the Bliss Boutique until I took special orders for Christmas (NOT doing that in December ever again).Ladies coming to the Bliss Boutique are looking for jewelry, amazing hand bags, and darling, trendy clothing. People coming to the Farmer's Market are looking for handmade, unique, and fun. I have had the best time meeting them!

I am creating a new blog to show what aprons I have available for immediate purchase and what ones I can make on custom orders. It may be another week before it is ready. Or maybe longer...

Oooo I can't wait to see the new blog and to get my aprons ordered. You have sparked my interest about the Halloween goodie - did you know that Halloween is one of my favorite holidays? It is and I can't wait to see what you are making. will you be featuring your crochet items too? I love the little doggie and monkey that i saw in the photos. I think Marlee would love them too. Let mw know, Christmas is just around the corner and that would be a great little something for her sock.

I hope you recover very quickly and have no problems. Nice to know you have so many coming to help. Wish you lived closer and then you would have one more person over there - ME! I'll be thinking about you.

Oh my goodness you are a VERY BUSY lady. I am so excited for you though. This business of yours is really taking off and that is so fun and awesome for you.

Good luck with your hand surgery. I'm glad that Aunt Gena and Grandma are coming to help you. If I were closer I'd help you cut out those patterns-but trust me you wouldn't want me sewing them! Let me know how your surgery goes. Brian is in need of this surgery terribly. We were thinking of him doing it around Christmas since his work usually slows down then anyway but were a little nervous at how much time he'd need off to heal. Let us know how it goes for you and good luck with everything.

We sure love and miss you!

Take Care,
JoLynn

Sorry to hear about your upcoming surgery, especially now as your new venture is taking off. Sounds like you're bringing in the "big guns" to help...Gena and Grandma Helen...I'm sure they will beable to keep the business afloat while you are recuperating. Good Luck with the new business and with your surgery, I hope it all goes perfectly.
