Time Travel Tuesdays~

First week of summer baby!!!

Here we find a very tiny me at Saguaro Lake, Arizona with my two darling cousins  Marian Hunsaker (Shepherd) and Diane Hunsaker (Stewart). I am guessing  this was between 1959 & 1960. I look about 2 years old there. I remember just idolizing these pretty girls as I grew up! They were always so sweet with me. They grew up on West Main St.on the property just east of the Royal Mesa Inn. I loved going to Uncle Homer and Aunt Lora's home. The lot was very shady and they had a great slide in the back yard! It was the sight for many Ellsworth family parties. Diane still lives in Mesa and we sadly lost Marian to breast cancer  quite awhile back. What are you loving about their "mid-century" style? I shall only comment on Diane's flip flops which, if you are old enough, you know were called thongs back then. That name doesn't work so well with my own kids today!

Oh I laughed as soon as I saw this picture. I can't wait to show Dianne ~ she will get a good laugh too. Marian always looks so dang beautiful in every picture I've seen of her. This one too! I love, love it! I still slip and say thongs and I get weird looks too.

Marianne,
I don't know what to say about this. Lori showed this to me and it brought back so many memories. You look darling, as well as Marian, however, I don't remember looking so yucky. I always thought that was a pretty turquoise swimsuit, but I guess it wasn't. Thanks for sharing and bringing back happy days and times. Saguaro Lake was the best. My kids still can't believe it when I tell them that I could water ski. I send you my love and please give my love to your Mom and your whole family.

So...I never caught on to the fact that Dianne's name had 2 n's! Sorry about that! An d I don't know what she is talking about. You look adorably cute Dianne! I, on the other hand, do not look so happy.
