Prayers Requested

Awhile back I shared with you all the story of my son Richard & his battle with O.C.D. Through an Email I shared more private information of his struggles and asked for prayers on his behalf. So many of you responded and it wasn't long before we began to see marked improvements. Nearly one year ago Nienie (Stephanie Nielson) of Mesa, AZ and her husband were in a terrible plane crash. They were both burned badly, Stephanie receiving the worst of it. Her sister Cjane (Courtney) kept us all updated through her blog (see buttons below). Her first post was titled Prayers Requested...Stephanie had such a huge blog following already that literally thousands of people from around the world soon heard her story and prayers were sent up to heaven for her and her sweet family. Today she is experiencing a miraculous recovery. She says she owes it all to the prayers and faith of so many.

Today I read the blog of a sweet young lady I follow regularly. Niki has a friend named Cory who is experiencing Guillian Barre Syndrome. It came on so suddenly and this young father is in a battle for his life. Niki requested prayers for him and asked us all to pass it on, so that is what I am doing. His sister has started a blog and you can read about his progress here.

Marianne! It's so great to hear from you. I miss you guys too. Thanks for your notes on my blog, and I really like what you did with the bathroom.

Marianne That was so nice of you to request prayers for the young man named Cory. I certainly will do that Now I make a request of you, to remember Mike DeShazer in your prayers. You remember, he's Christian's father and is back in the hospital. His leukemia has returned and the are talking of stem cell procedure which is a very good treatment but also very dangerous since it completely does away with the immune system so hae has to be isolated for a long time. But isolation doesn't promise that he wouldn't still pick up something. And he could die from that alone. They are also thinking of chemo. Which isn't a sure cure. We are having a fast for him next Sunday . But prayers would be appreciated. Keep us posted on Cory's progress.

Love you Mom
