SNOWMEN FALLING...

...some assembly required!

We had a little snow last week but nothing compared to today's storm! It started early this morning and hasn't stopped. The driveway and front walk have been shoveled four times already! We thought our friends and family in warmer places might enjoy by proxy what is sure to be a White Christmas for us without having to do all of the shoveling! (Grandma Helen thinks she is in Alaska!)

Farkle anyone?

Sam couldn't wait to join in the fun! Sarah was a good sport.
Britt doing her part.
Richard helping dig out his sister's car.
Out on the road to Costco!
Back home again.
Sigh...where did my green grass go?

Hi Marianne, I guess you got the storm that left us. We have had rain all day but the snow seems to be gone! It was beautiful in AZ, we spent the weekend there. We went to the BYU/ASU basketball game which was a heartbreaker, it really could have gone either way and the ref, I'm sure, is related to members of the ASU team and called our winning basket...no good! Oh man, we had to listen to all those Ellsworths rag on our team all night, it was rough. No, I'm just kidding, they were really nice...good winners. But then we all watched the BYU/U of A game together and that was another sad loss but not as bad as the basketball game. Most everyone was cheering for BYU (except cute Bryan Mortensen) so that made it a little easier. We had a great time with your AZ family, we love them. We wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year.

Oh my goodness! We still have snow around but that's just because it's too cold to melt. Tell yourself "it's moisture, it's no watering restrictions..." and keep warm! Play Farkle with 'the old woman' and keep her happy so she can come home in one week! Yea!

Oh my goodness I can't believe all that snow! I'm a bit jealous but then on the other hand I'm not sure if this Arizona woman here could handle the snow like that. I'm amazed that you said you went to Costco. Good grief, that is way impressive to me. I took one look at that and thought I hope they had food. But wow you ventured out in that. Man your the WOMAN!!!
We love you all and I hope you have a very Merry Christmas!
Love, JoLynn
P.S. Please play farkle with Grandma. I couldn't help but just laugh and laugh at her facial expression. Poor thing! She looks so bored! Give her hug for all of us.
