The Looses Need a New Roof!

Uncle Richard...where are you?! Our house was built in 1991 and has the original roof so I suppose I shouldn't be complaining. We live in a windy place and some nights it sounds like the roof will lift right off but we have never lost any shingles until the last big blow a week or so ago. The front and back yards were littered with what surely must have been the neighbor's shingles again! Fortunately for us we have a son-in-law who loves to have a project to do and looks for ANY excuse to climb up onto our roof! Nick, Dee, & Richard all got up there yesterday and replaced the many missing shingles so we are leak proof once more...for awhile! To my brother, the ex-roofer...do you remember teaching Dee how to do this many years ago? Well, this time he tied a rope around Nick and held on so the "young one" could go down to the edge of the roof and do the dangerous stuff! Our Richard came running inside when they were done to tell us that his Dad had saved Nick's life at least once up there! Thank Goodness!

Good to see the men of the house on the roof working. Bet Dee appreciates his two boys.

See you soon. Love Mom

I love your new haircut! You look like your 30. You are just a darling woman!!! I also wish we would have had your men around to help Brian and Dad fix our roof a couple of years ago when we had a microburst here. Wow! Let me just tell you that became quite the little project!
Well we are sure looking forward to seeing you all at Brent and Kami's wedding! We love you all!
