Busy April!

As promised, here are a few photos of our crazy weeks in April.
Miss Roxie is beginning to adjust quite well. She only runs in circles 88% of the time now instead of 100%! Can you imagine her confusion not only coming to a new home and family but after having been alone all day with 2 cats she suddenly enters a house teaming with noisy, happy people?
She is exhausted!
There were plenty of games to be played. Grandma Helen taught us all how to play "Golf".
May I say that I won BIG the very first time? People were annoyed.
Some of those people were clockwise from bottom: Dee, Helen, Sarah Faria, Allison, Rachel. Emily, Michael, and Diana.
Since Steven works a contract job in Ogden and Gena holds down the Colorado fort, they don't get to see each other very often. What a happy reunion they had with all four of their kids and their two new daughters-in-law for the very first time all in one room!

Cousin Charlie "schnauzed" the floor for dropped goodies.

Here's the 2nd generation of Steve and Gena's family.
Top-Sarah, Michael, Christopher, Christina. Front- Allison & Emily.
Chris and Christina both graduated from BYU last week and are off to start a new adventure in Maryland. Sarah and Michael are back at Fort Hood where Michael is a drone aircraft pilot and Sarah just got her first job out of college in her field of social work!
Allison graduated that same week from cosmetology school,
and Emily is taking summer classes at BYU.

The Faria kids are not blurry. My camera is!

Meanwhile, Roxie has found a few more favorite napping spots. What's a mother to do?

We celebrated Emily and Allison's 20th birthday. Sadly, Allison had to fly back to CO for work, but we sang and included her too.
As per Em's request, her parents provided pizza and a decadent chocolate cake with peanut butter cups on top. Oh, YUM!

She got a fun new watch. A silver Mickey Mouse one!

Did I say "YUM"? Oh yes I did!

It was a happy, busy time. I was glad to host my sister's family so they could have these sweet reunions and share that cake with us too!
