End of Summer Blah

That title just about sums it up. Yesterday I got on Facebook and tried to think of something witty to say. What was I up to? What was I looking forward to? What was on my mind???

Blah.

That's all I could think of. Later I got back on and typed, "I have nothing profound to say." There.

I don't want summer to go away. I would like cooler 80's to stay for months and months. I am not a huge fall fan. I dread the coming Utah winter.

I am in seasonal "No Man's Land". I am stuck in between and I really don't want to go forward!

Although I love my Cougars I am not hugely into football lately. Don't have Comcast...don't get the games.

Orange leaves mean raking and pulling dead flowers out of their beds.

School means homework and deadlines plus the stress of wondering if my boy will be alright every day. It also means means my husband comes home tired.

Fall means there are guilty feelings over tomatoes going to waste and apples laying on the ground under the tree that I wish wasn't there (although the road crew guys had fun picking them this morning).

So what does one do when in such a funk?

Get your hair chopped!!! Don't laugh.

P.S. I added this photo on Saturday...no so grumpy today!

Niki, I don't actually hate fall. I am just in a funk. Glass half empty today. I love the colors but I do not love what follows!

If my computer would co-operate I would already have a photo up! I'll keep trying! And I am excited for Lovey to come!!

I hear St. George calling your name, Marianne. We'll all keep a little prayer in our hearts that one day you will join us down here in Heaven!! Except for 3 months in the summer, then we're a lot like the "other" place. Sorry you're in a funk, however, this too shall pass. Can't wait to see the new "do".
