A Sure Sign It's Spring!

OK...the snow is behind us (for now anyway) and we look forward to a nice week with highs near 60! The little lambs in the field up the road have been born and are frolicking about. My daffodils are in bloom although they are a bit weary looking from all of the wind and snow. The birdies sing outside of my window every morning. I looked out back this afternoon and saw another sure way to tell it's spring...

Gone is his clean, sweet smelling winter fur. He stays so clean and smells like his green apple shampoo! Who knows what he smelled in the yard today. Dogs are so weird! I don't know who is happier about the warmer days though...him or me?

I am told that they do that to hide their scent when they hunt. So look for him to bring something gamey home.

Oh Yay! All I have in the back yard are doves, robins, and finches, plus an occasional field mouse. I don't want ot see any of them on my back porch!

That's really interesting. I never knew that and we alway wondered why he does it. He does consider himself quite the hunter!

Hmmm... that must be why Mollie and Minnie always smell so very interesting. We are constantly giving them baths.

I'm glad that Spring is coming to Utah. I think Summer is fast approaching Arizona.

I knew Spring was on it's way, I'm so happy to hear it's finally arriving. Soon you'll have daffodils and pansies and all the beautiful colors around you. This is such a happy time of year, I hope you enjoy every day!

He is probably in shock that he can wiggle on the yard and not have snow stuck on his back. I just love your little guy . . . he so cute.
