My ever talented and clever Rachel has started her own blog. It is a showcase of her art and wit. She is doing comic strips of her and her friends and is sharing them with you! They are a delightful, silly bunch of girls!
But the best part today is...she earned a spot in the famed Springville Art Show for high school students! She had to go through several rounds of judging and found out yesterday that two of her three entries made it into the show. One, her whimsical self-portrait, won an award of merit! Rachel's pictures are "to die for!!!" REALLY! I, too, especially love the tennis shoes, I can't believe it isn't a photograph. I can certainly see why her artwork made it into the show, I wish we were going to be up there so we could attend. Congratulations to her and to you!

Marianne, I am just SICK about this weekend!! We will be up north for the Jazz game on Thursday night (Brent and Kami too) and then we're attending the Draper Temple Open House on Friday, etc. Can't you come the NEXT weekend (just kidding, of course) but I'm SOOOOO sad that we won't be here, we would LOVE to see you!! We know a few good places to eat but probably nothing that would be "new" to you. Cafe Rio is always fabulous with a very fun, festive atmosphere and Pasta/Pizza Factory is a favorite of ours too (corner of Main St. and St. George Blvd.) If it's just you and Dee for lunch, another cute place is 25 Main (well it's not really cute but they have good food and really good cupcakes), another is called Haven, it's new. Just a few suggestions. I'm so sad we won't be here...REALLY!! Are you coming another weekend soon?
