Since I've been in your shoes a couple of times and I really do know what your pain feels like, I will just say, I'm sad. Some things we just don't understand and this is one of them! My thoughts are with you at this challenging time.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5181028175108121030.post-39003205845213314442012-03-21T21:17:51.445-06:002012-03-21T21:17:51.445-06:00Aunt Marianne, thank you again sharing grandpa and...Aunt Marianne, thank you again sharing grandpa and grandma's experience with us and also for sharing yours and Uncle Dee's. My mind may wander ow and then into the realms of trying to understand the idiocy of the whole thing but I will shake myself out of it!

I wanted to write down my parent's story so that their grandchildren would always remember. It truly did come to me yesterday as a reminder that life doesn't always go our way and dreams don't always come to pass, but we are never forsaken!Mariannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04528210954073298874noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5181028175108121030.post-20980048649133405512012-03-21T08:37:39.438-06:002012-03-21T08:37:39.438-06:00Aunt Marianne, out hearts too are breaking for you...Aunt Marianne, out hearts too are breaking for you and Uncle Dee. We know how much he wanted this job and that this has been a dream of his for a very long time. We never know why things happen right away...but I often find myself looking back at various times in my life thinking...AHA! That is why I had to go through that heart breaking experience. I always find that the outcome...or "need" is much better than the "want" I had in mind.
My favorite quote...that I use VERY often is "Some blessings come soon, some come late but for those who embrace the Gospel of Jesus Christ THEY COME!"
We love you all so much. Please know that my prayers are with you. Please know that I love you and Uncle Dee so much. I know that this is so difficult. I too at different times have asked those same kinds of "why" questions and I too have felt that same piece and love come over me that all would be well. Many times we never know the answers to all our "why" questions however, it is true that when we put our trust and faith in the Lord all turns out well. However, this isn't always easy but try to remember it's always darkest before the light. On our door in our kitchen it says, "The Greater the Struggle the More Glorious the Triumph" This saying has become a popular saying in our home. Hang in there! You are in our thoughts and prayers! We love you so much!

Love Always,
JoLynnURFAVE 5+A Fewhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11485085265505953332noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5181028175108121030.post-61838283994507312712012-03-20T21:30:06.696-06:002012-03-20T21:30:06.696-06:00This comment has been removed by a blog administrator.Emaleehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18013988848233593517noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5181028175108121030.post-24766979834781871192012-03-20T21:29:49.994-06:002012-03-20T21:29:49.994-06:00Dear sweet Sister Loose, thank you for sharing thi...Dear sweet Sister Loose, thank you for sharing this. It truly is inspiring. Your parents are wonderful examples and so are you and your husband. I can only imagine how much this hurts, but in a small way I hurt for you all. But I believe that great blessings do await you.Emaleehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18013988848233593517noreply@blogger.com
